This work utilizes a hint of cubism, angles and curves; purposefully to show contrast of strength and softness at the same time. All whilst keeping the form balanced. This work is powerful, meaningful and aims to describe the beauty and complexity of the female species.

Sculptures created in concrete are made using a combination of layering and carving; addition and subtraction. Concrete is added gradually to a rigid frame, as it cures more layers are then added or removed as the form develops. A process requiring time and focus, often taking weeks or months to complete a single piece. The final result offers a unique work with a surface layer comprising of multiple layers meshed and intertwined together. less
