The table is put together with wooden pegs and glue in conjunction with two flat head screws. I believe the piece was built in the 30’s or 40’s. There are a few places hidden on the underside of the table where there have been a few screws installed within the last 30 years which seems like an attempt to maintain the sturdiness of the piece. less
