The chest is considerably larger than most silver chests around. This top lifts up to reveal compartments lined with tarnish proof cloth and the lower drawer has the same. There are campaign style brass handles on the sides and a plate on top for engraving. ( there is no engraving presently )
Enjoy storing your silverware in this heirloom piece. We wish it could tell its story.
This chest is very heavy at @30 lbs. we suggest not relying on the handles to lift it.
