Estimated to have … more An elegant Bauhaus typist desk with metal drawers, a solid wooden top and a tubular steel frame. Estimated to have been manufactured around 1940. The desk is modestly sized but very suitable to use as workstation for a laptop. Ideal for styling a loft or apartment as well, adding a Bauhaus accent to a space. Also combines very well with Art Deco furniture and art.

The desk is in reasonable vintage state, has some wear and bits of chrome missing at the back of the metal frame. Seen from the front it is in good vintage condition with small signs of wear.

The desk has one small metal drawer and beneath that a larger one with a metal folders system for filing papers/keeping the typewriter paper.

The top has been refinished (not the original paint). This has not been done very professionally. One could consider placing a glass top over it or to refinish again. less
