This is a classic set of Wassily chairs designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925. Greatly inspired by the frames of bicycles, Breuer utilized bent tubular chrome for the frame. The frame is study, stylish, and sleek. All across the frame are straps of leather, binding the chair together to create arms, a seat, and a back. The leather straps on this particular set of chairs is a gorgeous cognac leather. This leather has a lovely color and worn patina all over. The use and patina on both chairs looks quite unique. As a whole, these chairs are in good condition. The patina and stretching of the leather straps is the only condition item to note. These chairs measure 28.5 inches tall, 31 inches wide, and 27 inches deep. They have an approximate seat height of 15 inches, a seat depth of 18 inches, a back height of 19 inches, and an arm height of 6 inches. less
