Or, this vintage cast iron can be used as decor anywhere, on walls, attached to a decorative outdoor metal fence, etc. Many believe these look great on a mantel. It was made by a double sided mold so both sides are in "relief" (or full 3D, if you will).

It has beautiful acorns, leaves and vines. Since it is vintage cast iron it has rust patina, which is just perfect for many customers. Should you want to paint it to match your decor you can either soak with rust remover (a vinegar soak does pretty good) and scrub with steel wool, or simply get rid of any loose rust and prime, then paint it as-is. Some spray paints have primer built in. I find most people demand such items be left in their original state, rust and all.

It measures about 23 1/4" x 7" x 1 1/2" and has a flat surface on the bottom to help make it sit on a door frame, should that be your desired use. less
