The … more This gorgeous Louis XV style vanity or "poudreuse" dates back to the mid 19th century and comes from France. The woman's dressing and writing table has a very pretty walnut veneer pattern. The middle part features a flip up mirror, flanked by two flip up doors covering the spacious side compartments. There is also a flip top which open forward to reveal the original leather covered desk top writing surface. There are additional compartments in front fo the vanity mirror which were used for cosmetics and other personal items. The lower part of this elegant dressing table has two smaller drawers and as a special feature an additional pullout to support the writing surface.
