He developed a passion for creation at a very young age since he joined a ceramic factory at the age of 11. He then followed an apprenticeship which unfortunately ended at the start of the war. Between 1935 and 1943, Londi was taken prisoner of war in South Africa. He then returned to Italy and obtained the position of artistic director within the ceramic creation company Bitossi, a job he held for 50 years!
