A brilliantly executed mid-century modernist style still life composition, painted in oil onto board by prominent Swedish painter Gerhard Nordström (1925 -2019), who’s artworks have been represented at the Gothenburg Art Museum, the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, the Kalmar Art Museum, and the Malmö Art Museum.

The painting features a table setting populated with a variety of objects. Dominating the arrangement are a brown pitcher, a pedestal bowl filled with oranges, and a large orange resting on a cloth. A red box sits beside the orange, and other smaller objects are scattered across the surface.
