After WWll there was a huge demand for more modern furniture and none more popular than the G-Plan brand. Each piece could be customised with a choice of alternative top drawer filaments and whether pieces came with mirrors or not. Designs were available for several years so people could collect them slowly, with all furniture marked with the distinctive brand mark.

This particular piece is from the 'Brandon' range designed by V.B Wilkins who stated that these pieces of furniture had a look that could be placed in any room of the house and not look out of place.

Their sleek and modern forms ensure this pair will look fresh and a-la-mode for another 50 years!

Very good condition, the drawers move smoothly and are well preserved. They have some minor marks as would be expected but the veneer is in overall good condition for a pair of cabinets at nearly 70 years in age. This piece has an attribution mark,
