Movie posters can vary in size, but, generally, a standard U.S. movie poster measures 27 inches by 40 inches. Also known as a “one-sheet” poster, this is the poster size you’ll most often see used for promotional purposes in theaters. This is far from the only size movie poster available, of course. There are numerous other options, including smaller ones that are used for steaming releases and larger ones used for one-off promotional campaigns.
