Each person has different preferences when it comes to a reading chair, and comfort should always be the main priority. For us, a chaise lounge chair is perfect for those who like to stretch and lie down while reading.
If you’re looking to stay upright while reading (a true traditionalist), a wingback chair might provide more structure and support, especially if you tend to lean one way or another while reading. If you prefer to literally curl up with your book, go for a classic club chair. Don’t like to sit completely still? Opt for a rocking chair, or go the extra mile with a hanging chair. No matter what you choose, it’s important to select something that feels comfortable to YOU, since (fingers crossed!) you’ll be spending quite a lot of time in that chair.
