The recent collaboration between Chairish and April Gargiulo of Vintner’s Daughter brought together two female-founded brands for one incredible collection, but why stop there? We decided to gather a powerhouse group of Bay Area boss ladies, and one dashing gent, to celebrate entrepreneurship and a shared love of beautiful design. Go behind the scenes of our female founders luncheon and meet some of the inspiring women transforming the retail, publishing, design, and beauty landscape.
Cozy Venue & Delicious Menu
Held at Del Popolo, a Nob Hill eatery famous for their Neapolitan-style pizzas, guests were treated to a spring soup and salad before diving into four different varieties of pizza. Italian wines and prosecco kept the fun and conversations flowing as everyone took in the fresh air on the restaurant’s beautiful outdoor patio.
Schwag For Days
Each attendee was greeted at their seat with a custom Chairish bomber jacket, perfect for warding off the chill of a foggy San Francisco day, as well as a set of Chairish Print Shop notecards. Inside a tote bag, a sample of Active Botanical Serum, the smash-hit cult product by Vintner’s Daughter, awaited each guest.
Women At Work
Among the impressive guest list were San Francisco interior designers making a splash on the national scene, such as Catherine Kwong, Chloe Warner, and Charles de Lisle. Also joining were media mavens Katie Hintz-Zambrano of MOTHER, Angela Tafoya from Lonny, Caitlin Flemming of Sacramento Street, Erica Chan Hoffman of Honestly WTF, and Erin Heimstra of Apartment 34. And upping the already impressive style quotient were the ladies behind two clothing stores putting the Bay Area on the fashion map: Sherri McMullen of Oakland’s McMullen, and HERO Shop’s Emily Holt.
