KIPS BAY NEW YORK | MAY 2020

Last year’s Kips Bay New York was one for the record books–remember this Jean Cocteau-inspired room by designer (and Chairish Insider) Young Huh? Sure to be another stunner, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House New York will return this May for its 48th year. Instagrammers at the ready! HOLIDAY HOUSE HAMPTONS | JUNE – JULY 2020

A summer in the Hamptons just wouldn’t be complete without the Holiday House Hamptons showhouse. An offshoot of interior designer Iris Danker’s Holiday House NYC, Holiday House Hampton’s proceeds go towards the franchise’s collective goal of funding breast cancer research. With a roster of industry-leading designers on board and a striking Long Island estate cued up as the venue, this year’s Holiday Hampton House is once again shaping up to be the blockbuster of the summer.

HAMPTON DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE | JULY 2020

Hampton Designer Showhouse will once again serve as a coastal oasis for design professionals and enthusiasts alike. Partnering with HC&G, the Hampton Designer Showhouse will raise money for the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. The opening Gala Preview Party is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 25th, with more details to follow soon.

HOLIDAY HOUSE NYC | NOVEMBER 2020

Rounding out the year, the original Holiday House NYC will return this November. An integral part of the Manhattan holiday circuit, Holiday House NYC features a roster of designers equipped with the challenge of teeing up a room that evokes either the favorite holiday or a day of important personal meaning. As mentioned above, like its counterpart, Holiday House Hamptons, Holiday House NYC will raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

LAKE FOREST SHOWHOUSE & GARDENS | APRIL 25 – MAY 17

If the saying about April showers brining May flowers is true, then the Lake Forest Showhouse & Gardens is destined to be one outrageous oasis. In addition to lush floral gardens and pristinely-trimmed hedges, this year’s home will treat guests to not one, but two beautiful homes totaling 23 rooms and a jaw-dropping 11,000 square feet. Headlined by award-winning interior decorator Paloma Contreras, this Chicago-based showhouse is not to be missed.

KIPS BAY DECORATOR SHOW HOUSE PALM BEACH | FEBRUARY 1 – MARCH 1

Now in its third year, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House in Palm Beach is a hold-nothing back display of Palm Beach panache. This year ,19 design firms – including Chairish insiders Alessandra Branca and Kevin Isbell – will be participating in the top to bottom makeover of a luxurious plantation-style home. All proceeds will benefit the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.

ATLANTA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE |  FEBRUARY 29 – MARCH 22
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Magazine and Atlanta Magazine’s Home are bringing back the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Designer Showhouse. In a fabulous twist, this year’s event will be hosted in a home that took design inspiration from a 1945 performance by the Atlanta Youth Symphony. Talk about life imitating art!

SOUTHEASTERN DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE AND GARDENS | APRIL 16 -MAY 10

In true Atlanta fashion, the Southeastern Designer Showhouse and Gardens—hosted by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine—not only features a stunning showhouse but gobs of gorgeous gardens. This year’s even will take place in a spacious 9,000 square foot mansion nestled in the Buckhead woodlands. Per tradition, expect an accessible mix of contemporary and traditional influences infused with classic Southern romanticism. Event proceeds will raise funds for the Atlanta History Center.

MILIEU DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE | APRIL 25 – MAY 17

This spring Houston’s Milieu Magazine will present its first designer showhouse, known as the Milieu Designer Showhouse. Located in Houston’s prestigious River Oaks neighborhood, the 7,400 square foot Edwin Lutyens-style home will feature a chic crew designers handpicked by Milieu editor-in-chief Pamela Pierce. Notables include A-lister designers Kathy Ireland and Jennifer Vaughn Miller. Funds raised by the Milieu Designer Showhouse will benefit the organization Clayton Dabney for Kids with Cancer. 

West Coast

SAN FRANCISCO DECORATOR SHOWCASE | APRIL 25 – MAY 25W
Not only does the West Coast’s most iconic showhouse feature the toast of Bay Area designers, but each year the venue selected for the San Francisco Decorator Showcase is a property peeper’s dream. This year’s home, located in the uber-exclusive Sea Cliff neighborhood, promises to offer guests a show-stopping experience from top to bottom, with designers including members of high-profile firms CHROMA, Sean Leffers of Sean Leffers Interiors, and returning fan (and Instagram) favorite, Dina Bandman. Founded in 1977 as way to raise funds for the San Francisco University High School Financial Aid program, the Decorator Showcase has currently raised over $17 million and counting.
