Jenny Wolf’s interiors are the kind we daydream of. They’re the perfect mix of femme and edgy, they fearlessly mix texture, and they’re chock full of vintage. A New Yorker by way of New Orleans and the Carolina coast, Jenny opened Jenny Wolf Interiors in 2011 following a career as a visual merchandising and shop installations manager at Ralph Lauren. Since then, Jenny has been serenading the design world with her darkly romantic (and floral-licious) interiors. To get the lowdown on this in-demand designer’s muses, we tapped Jenny for a round of Playing Favorites. Get Jenny’s hit list, below!

They add so much depth and character to a room. It gives you that collected feel.

Favorite paint color?
Farrow and Ball’s Cromarty. It’s a soft gray/green that is very soothing.
Favorite pattern (and how you love to use it)?
Pyne Hollyhock (It’s beautiful on chairs). I love how the black/white color way gives a graphic, yet traditional touch to a room.
Favorite design rule to break?
There are no rules! Let’s break that one.
Favorite color combo?
Sage/Black/White/Coral
Favorite way to mix high and low?
I always suggest clients spend more on a statement piece, where quality is the most important, and less on the layering pieces. The high cost piece will anchor the room and elevate the look of the less expensive items.
