Inside the 2019 Kips Bay Decorator Show House

The 47th Annual Kips Bay Show House offers design lovers the opportunity to experience some of the best perspectives in contemporary design. Through creative spaces planned by 23 interior designers and architects, visitors come face to face with the rich imaginations of some of today’s top visionaries, as they reveal both the timelessness and constant innovation inherent to good design. Running through May 30, this season’s Show House is held at 36-38 East 74th Street in the Upper East Side of New York City, and features a selection of high-end antiques, art, furnishings, and clothing at a curated on-site shop.

For "Young at Heart," Young Huh Interiors designed a color-rich combination workroom and study intended to enhance creativity; a three-tiered chandelier coated in Venetian plaster holds court overhead, while various bright furnishings and accessories, along with an easel from Maison Gerard, adorn the space below.

Focusing on femininity, Eve Robinson Associates designed a room perfect for a woman's various roles and includes areas for work, entertaining, and private reflection.

Jeff Lincoln Interiors curated a collection of new pieces debuting this year at Kips Bay Show House, including products from the Rug Company and Richard Shemtov of Dune, along with work from acclaimed artists like the postmodern painter Mario Schifano. The window treatments were designed by the The Shade Store.
