As sad as we are to see summer go, we’re already looking forward to the extensive line-up of fall design events. We’ve compiled a list of can’t-miss events (with some that you’ll find Team Chairish at!), as well as some gorgeous books to flip through, so that you’re set with tons of new inspiration as we usher in fall!

BUSINESS OF HOME CONFERENCE | SEPTEMBER 9-10
Imagine the future of interior design at the Future of Home Conference September 9-10, in New York City. Host Business of Home will bring together creative and business professionals, entrepreneurs and visionaries to re-imagine how to make, market, distribute, and sell products and services in our rapidly changing world.

WHAT’S NEW WHAT’S NEXT | SEPTEMBER 12
Discover some of the up-and-coming trends at What’s New What’s Next hosted by the New York Design Center on September 12. The jam-packed schedule includes panels, speeches, and meet-and-greets, as some of the most influential names in the world of design discuss everything from design processes to branding.

FALL MARBURGER FARM ANTIQUE SHOW| OCTOBER 1-5
A collector’s staple for over 20 years, the Marburger Farm Antique Show in Round Top, Texas is back for its fall run from October 1-5. Featuring over 350 dealers, Marburger Farm is a must-see hotspot for interior designers and treasure hunters from around the globe. Honestly, we could spend all week browsing the extraordinary array of quality antiques and fresh vintage finds (although we’re not too sure our wallets would agree…)!

THE SAN FRANCISCO FALL SHOW |OCTOBER 3-6
The San Francisco Fall Show has captured our hearts. As the leading international art, antiques, and design fair of the West Coast, The Fall Show gathers over 50 of the top antiques dealers worldwide and some of the most prominent names in art, antiques, design, architecture, and history. Team Chairish will be there, and we can’t wait to see what this year’s theme Wanderlust–Around the World with Art, Antiques, and Design has in store!

BOSTON DESIGN CENTER – HEADING HOME DINNER| OCTOBER 3-4
Boston Design Center’s annual “Heading Home Dinner,” held on October 4th this year, is about more than just bringing together the design community and networking. The event is designed to raise funds for Heading Home, a non-profit dedicated to providing housing and aid to the homeless families of the Boston area. Team Chairish will also be attending to support this amazing cause!

HIGH POINT MARKET |OCTOBER 17-22
The High Point Market in High Point, North Carolina is one of our favorite events of the year! This biannual event is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, and will run this fall from October 17-22. Apart from the 2000+ exhibitors, be sure to check out their trend presentations, business-boasting workshops, and high-profile meet-and-greets!

INSTITUTE OF CONTEMPORARY ART – LESS IS A BORE: MAXIMALIST ART & DESIGN| JUNE 26- SEPTEMBER 22
As much as we love Mies van der Rohe and his mantra “less is more,” let’s face it: sometimes more is… well, more! Less Is a Bore: Maximalist Art & Design at the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston explores the historic and modern use of ornamentation to make statements on social issues and cultures.

If you’re seeking that luxurious yet livable style, look to Timothy Corrigan’s signature mix of classic and modern design forms.
