Where can I use pendant lights?
Pendant lights can be used just about anywhere. Although they are perhaps most commonly used in a kitchen, pendant lights can make a striking addition to dining rooms, bathrooms, and hallways as well. In kitchens, pendant lights are usually used over a kitchen island. Since kitchen islands often serve as eating areas, pendants can be installed to cast ambient, mood-setting light when overhead lighting has been turned off. In dining rooms, a large, single pendant light can be installed over a dining table. For a long, rectangular dining table, it’s also an option to install a series of pendant lights that span the width of the table. Similarly, pendant lights can be installed at specific intervals down the length of a hallway. In bathrooms, it’s common to see a large pendant light installed over a tub or two pendants hung on either side of a vanity.
