How did you find the item you bought on Chairish, and what made you choose it? Did you have a specific search or were you just browsing?
I found the glassware scrolling late into the night and bought them immediately—they are so beautiful! I collect glassware and loved the detailing on them.
Why do you love shopping vintage? And how does sustainability factor into your choices of new products vs. vintage finds?
Shopping vintage is the best option for originality. Vintage adds patina, warmth, and an unmatchable uniqueness to spaces that can’t be beat—no catalogue items can replace the innate quirkiness that makes a house a home. Sustainability is also a crucial reason for buying vintage, especially vintage and local (double win!). And with lead times being what they are as of late, we’ve been leaning heavily into vintage (even more so than usual, which is a lot!) for our projects at the firm too.
