Nautical Yum Yums
Off to Lake Tahoe for water skiing (kids are learning dock starts this year) plus homemade ice cream and hammock time. I’m in the mood for a little nautical pizazz.

The Met Breuer: Ettore Sottsass: Design Radical
(July 21-Oct 8)
It’s no secret that I am a Memphis super fan. Often disparaged as the Pee Wee’s Playhouse of design (by people with no wit and sense of adventure IMO), the Memphis collective, founded by Ettore Sottsass in Milan in 1981, is experiencing a major revival. So I am kinda freaking about this new show at Met Breuer which covers not only the pieces and ideas that influenced Sottsass, but also explores how his work is impacting designers today. Here are a few Memphis-inspired pieces on Chairish I’m digging.
