Tell us about your personal aesthetic. What kinds of furnishings and decor are you drawn to, and why?

I have continuously changed my style throughout the years, but I think I’ve settled on one that I think will last: eclectic and casual, with rich earth tones.

Speaking of which, are there go-to palettes you find yourself returning to when it comes to painting spaces or choosing furnishings? Are you more minimalist, or do you play with color, and if so, which ones?

I choose neutral palettes and linens and usually love to incorporate warm earth tones. I’m not a minimalist—I like my home to feel inviting and cozy. 

Do you find your personal tastes have changed over time, or do you find yourself with tried-and-true favorites?

Yes, my taste is ever-changing but there are certain fundamentals I’m always attracted to.

Do you have any decorating must-haves that find their way into every home you own?

I gravitate toward pieces with texture and beautiful craftsmanship, but especially those that are unique with history. 

If you had to choose a favorite among the pieces you’re selling (and I know it’s hard), do you have one that stands out in particular?

The vintage French bookshelf, the James Perse white oak mirror, and the crystal tables have all been in my bedroom for years and are some of my favorite pieces.

How do you like to incorporate vintage and antique finds into your home? Do you like to mix vintage and new pieces together?

Always. I love to mix any vintage with something new as long as it speaks to me.

What kinds of pieces do you always find yourself picking up when it comes to vintage and antique shopping? Are there particular eras of design or types of furnishings that you find yourself drawn to?

The eras of design range all the way from Art Deco to current one-of-a-kind finds. I have a passion for 20th-century design, and Scandinavian, Italian, French, and Belgian pieces all make their way into my home.

Are there any dream items or iconic pieces of design you’ve always wanted for your home?

I love Prouvé and every piece from my favorite store, Galerie Half. 

Thinking a little bit about having guests at home, what do you think is the most important entertaining essential?

That people feel comfortable, relaxed, nourished, and welcomed. 

Finally… What’s your favorite way to unwind at home?

My favorite way to unwind is cooking dinner for my partner Johnny and falling asleep to a documentary.
